Laptop does not turn on: charger, battery, or motherboard?

When a laptop shows no fan, no screen, and no charging light, the cause is not always obvious. A proper diagnosis separates simple power problems from battery, charging circuit, and motherboard faults.

  • No charging light when the adapter is connected.
  • The fan does not spin and the screen stays black.
